Who is it for?

New Venture Competition is open to anyone with an innovative business idea, regardless of age or (study) background. To be eligible for one of the two additional prizes made available by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, your start-up has to be on biodiversity and/ or nutrition.

If you want to enroll to try winning the ANF prizes you can participate under the same conditions taht apply for the regular New Venture business plan competition.
What are the conditions?

Entering the competition costs € 37.50 per team. For this amount you receive the book "Starting up - Achieving success with professional business planning". This book was written by McKinsey & Company and is a practical and thorough guide that helps you writing a well reasoned and full business.

All other forms of guidance are at no extra cost.

Secrecy and control

Both New Venture and the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food handle strict confidentiality. Moreover, you keep full control of your business idea. New Venture is a foundation funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Dutch industry, and aims to foster innovation and encourage entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. New Venture has no commercial interest in the contest entries.
